"FOR THE LOVE OF CHOCOLATE"-- Michael Bell's "For the Love of Chocolate" painting Superbia made it's debut on Saturday Night, 7pm on February 10th, 2007 in Chicago! Thousands inndulged in the senses in a decadent chocolate wonderland with Celebrity Artist Michael Bell while supporting a worthy cause at Chicago's historic South Shore Cultural Center.

ON MICHAEL BELL's RECENT PRESS-- Since exploding onto the art scene Michael Bell has developed an extremely unique list of accomplishments. Bell is a self-made man, who single-handedly rose to fame by painting some of the most famous and infamous celebrities of our time, including numerous cast members from HBO's "The Sopranos," television's "CSI: Miami," "Law & Order," and movies such as "Goodfellas" and "A Bronx Tale." He has done numerous Celebrity Signers with "The Sopranos," and various domestic violence charity benefits with Hollywood Author and ex-mafia wife Georgia Durante, which makes for an interesting cast of characters at his art openings.

On Saturday Night, February 10th, just in time for Valentine's Day, thousands took in the sultry aromas of chocolate and the sounds of Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials at the South Shore Cultural Center, Chicago, Illinois at 7 p.m. The event, hosted by the French Pastry School, benefits Careers through Culinary Arts Program, a nonprofit that prepares at-risk urban high school students for college and careers in the hospitality industry.


Other highlights throughout the evening included a bridal-themed fashion show showcasing intricate chocolate clothing and accessories, chocolate body painting by Celebrity Artist Michael Bell, Jessie Smith-Larson and Holly Jackson, plus indulge in edible works of art, including a chocolate wedding cake competition.
